Terms of use
Last updated: 1 November 2026
1. Scope
These terms apply to the Nobiru app (in the browser at app.nobiru.ch and as an iPhone and Android app), the Nobiru connector for AI assistants, and the website www.nobiru.ch ("Nobiru"). Nobiru is provided by Nobiru c/o David Schneider, Monbijoustrasse 15, 3011 Bern, Switzerland ("we"). By using Nobiru, you agree to these terms.
2. What Nobiru is
Nobiru stores your exercises, sessions and training plans, guides you through the sessions with a player, and records how they went. Plans and exercises are usually made by the AI assistant you connect to Nobiru (for example Claude). Nobiru is a preview: invite-only, free, and features may change or go away.
3. Not medical advice
Nobiru and the plans your AI assistant makes are general training guidance, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and they don't replace a doctor, physiotherapist or coach.
- You train at your own risk. Check with a professional that training suits you before you start, especially if you have a medical condition, an injury, are pregnant or haven't exercised in a while.
- Read each exercise's instructions and cautions first. Stop at once if something hurts or you feel dizzy, short of breath or chest pain, and get medical help if needed.
- AI assistants make mistakes. Use common sense with every exercise and plan, and skip anything that doesn't feel right.
- Garmin recovery values are the device's estimates, not medical measurements.
4. Your account
You need an invite and must be at least 16 to have an account. You sign in with a code we email you, so keep access to that email address secure. One account per person. You can delete your account at any time at app.nobiru.ch/account/delete.
5. AI assistants and other services
If you connect an AI assistant, Garmin or another service, its own terms apply too. You decide which service gets access and can revoke it at any time under Account → Connected apps. What the assistant creates or changes in Nobiru on your behalf counts as done by you. We aren't responsible for another service's answers or mistakes.
6. Your content
Your exercises, sessions, notes and training data are yours. You allow us to store and process them as far as Nobiru needs to, and nothing more. You can download them at any time at app.nobiru.ch/account/export. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
7. Fair use
Use Nobiru for your own training only, and don't
- access other people's data or get around security measures,
- disrupt the service or flood it with automated requests (beyond normal use by your AI assistant),
- store unlawful or abusive content, or content that infringes other people's rights,
- resell Nobiru or offer it as a service to others.
If you break these rules, we may suspend or delete your account, telling you first where we can.
8. Price
Nobiru is free during the preview. If we introduce paid plans later, we'll announce them in good time. You only pay if you explicitly sign up for a paid plan.
9. Availability and changes
We try to keep Nobiru running reliably, but during the preview we can't guarantee it. Outages, bugs and data loss can happen; download your data if it matters to you. We may change, limit or discontinue Nobiru. If we shut it down, we'll tell you at least 30 days ahead so you can download your data.
10. Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for damage from using Nobiru, in particular for injuries while training, for content an AI assistant created, for outages or data loss, or for indirect damage. This doesn't limit liability for intent or gross negligence, for personal injury where the law doesn't allow it to be excluded, or consumers' mandatory rights.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll email you at least 30 days ahead. If you keep using Nobiru afterwards, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
12. Governing law and venue
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Bern. If you're a consumer living in another country, you keep the mandatory protections and courts of your place of residence.
